Zünikon is a hamlet that belongs to the political municipality of Wiesendangen in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland . It is located about two kilometers southeast of the village of Bertschikon.

history

The village was first mentioned in a document in 1263. In 1928, the former civil parishes of Bertschikon, Zünikon, Gundetswil , Gündlikon , Liebensberg , Stegen and the Zurich part of Kefikon were dissolved and merged into what is now the municipality of Bertschikon near Attikon. Hence the seven stars in the municipal coat of arms.
