Gündlikon is a hamlet that belongs to the political municipality of Wiesendangen in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland . It is located about 1.8 km southeast of the village of Bertschikon.

history

Gündlikon is first mentioned in a document as Cundilinchoua in 774.

In 1928 the former civil parishes of Gündlikon, Bertschikon, Zünikon , Gundetswil , Liebensberg , Stegen and the Zurich part of Kefikon were dissolved and merged to form today's municipality of Bertschikon near Attikon. Hence the seven stars in the municipal coat of arms.

school

Like Zünikon, Gündlikon belongs to the primary school community of Bertschikon and the upper school community of Elgg. The children go to school in Gundetswil up to the sixth grade. Then they go to upper school in Elgg .

Public transport

Gündlikon cannot be reached by public transport. The next bus stop is in Bertschikon.
