Zach Garrett (born April 8, 1995 in Wellington , Missouri ) is an American archer .

Career

Zach Garrett started his archery career in 2010 and made his international debut in 2014.

At the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Garrett won the silver medal in the team competition. In the individual competition, he made it to the semi-finals, but lost 6-0 to the Canadian Jay Lyon and finished fourth.

Garrett started at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . While he lost and eliminated in the individual competition in the quarterfinals, Garrett came in the team competition together with Brady Ellison and Jake Kaminski after victories over the Chinese Taipei , Indonesia and China , where they then lost 6-0 to South Korea and thus the silver medal won.

Garrett currently lives in Chula Vista .
