Brady Ellison (born October 27, 1988 in Glendale , Arizona ) is an American archer . Ellison was number one in the world rankings from August 2011 through March 2013. No other shooter was able to stay at the top of the world rankings for a similar length of time. He has been married to the Slovenian archer Toja Cerne since 2016 .

Sporting successes

In 2007 Brady Ellison took part in the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro . At the American Games he won the gold medal with the US team. When he participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics , he reached a tenth place with the team and a 27th place in the individual in Beijing. The 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara were successful for Ellison. He could achieve a gold medal both individually and with the team. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London , he won the silver medal in the team competition with Jacob Wukie and Jake Kaminski . In the individual he reached the 10th place. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, he was able to win a silver medal again with the US team. In the individual he was able to achieve 3rd place and thus the bronze medal.
