Zack Anderson (2015)

Zack Levi Anderson (* 1990 ) is an American bass player . He is a member of the blues rock band Blues Pills and previously played for Radio Moscow .

Career

Anderson grew up in the US state of Iowa . His father played cover versions of well-known songs in various classic rock bands , to which he regularly took his son with him. Zack Anderson initially played guitar and drums . Influenced by the psychedelic rock of 1960 years, and bands like Blue Cheer , he began with his stepbrother to Cory Berry jam . In addition, they both enjoyed watching music videos from bands like the White Stripes .

At the age of 17, Anderson joined the band Radio Moscow as bassist, replacing Luke McDuff. With the band he released two studio albums, while his stepbrother Cory Berry appeared again and again as a live drummer for the band. In 2011 Anderson met the Swedish singer Elin Larsson in California . Anderson and Berry then left Radio Moscow and founded the band Blues Pills with Larsson, in which Anderson and Larsson are the main songwriters. After several singles and EPs , the band released their debut album in 2014.

His main influences include Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath , James Jamerson and Mel Schacher from Grand Funk Railroad .
