Zafer Şakar (born September 25, 1985 in Akçadağ ) is a former Turkish football player .

Player career

society

Şakar started club soccer in 1996 at the Istanbul amateur club Güngörenspor . In 1999 he moved to the youth department of Galatasaray Istanbul . In spring he was given to the fourth division Beylerbeyi SK , the then second club of Galatasaray. He returned to Galatasaray in the summer of 2004. In the seasons 2004/05 and 2005/06 Şakar was in the professional squad and completed four league games for Galatasaray by spring 2006. He was then loaned to various second and third division clubs.

In 2009 he moved to Boluspor and one season later moved to Diyarbakırspor . After half a season he moved within the league to Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . In the 2011/12 season he played for Istanbul Güngörenspor and Korfez FK . After playing for fourth division Batman Petrolspor in the 2012/13 season , Şakar remained without a club in the summer of 2013 and then ended his career.

National team

Şakar began his national team career in the Turkish U-16 national team and then played for the U-19 and U-20 national team .

With the U-19 selection of Turkey, Şakar took part in the U-19 European Championships in 2004 and ended with this Aushwal the tournament behind Spain as the runner-up U-19 European champions.
