Zagrosjet is an Iraqi- Kurdish airline based in Erbil in the autonomous region of Kurdistan and based at Erbil Airport .

history

Zagrosjet was founded in 2005 as a joint venture between the Turkish AtlasGlobal and the Kurdish Zagros Group. On October 2, 2013, Zagrosjet started operations with an Airbus A321-200 on the flight to Ankara . In the course of the independence referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan in 2017 , the Iraqi central government banned international flights to Erbil and Sulaimaniyya, whereupon the airline suspended its flight operations until further notice.

Destinations

Zagrosjet serves destinations in Turkey , Jordan and Lebanon from Erbil Airport . In German-speaking countries is Munich approached.
