Magic and Enchanting is the title of one of the fundamental books for understanding and learning the art of magic .

content

The author describes the art of magic from today's (2008) point of view, incorporating his personal experiences from more than 30 years of professional magician. It describes the essence of magic and shows how and where magic takes place in the 21st century, while theater magic has a special position.

Magic performances are analyzed and the meaning of the magic secrets is questioned. This thesis is also made clear by the conversation between the author and Roberto Ciulli (director of the Theater an der Ruhr ).

The magic history is honored by a contribution by Peter Rawert in the chapter Smart minds .
