Zdzisław Stanisław Błaszczyk
Zdzisław Stanisław Błaszczyk (born August 8, 1969 in Gdów , Poland ) is a Polish clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Rio de Janeiro .
Life
Zdzisław Stanisław Błaszczyk was on May 8, 1993 Deacon ordained and received on 14 May 1994 in Wawel Cathedral by the Archbishop of Krakow , Franciszek Cardinal Macharski , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On December 4, 2019 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Aulona and auxiliary bishop of Rio de Janeiro. The Archbishop of Rio de Janeiro, Orani João Tempesta Cardinal OCist , gave him on 25 January 2020, the Catedral Metropolitana de Sao Sebastiao de Rio de Janeiro , the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the retired Archbishop of Kraków, Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz , and the auxiliary bishop in Rio de Janeiro, Roque Costa Souza .
