Zeb is located in Münster

zeb was founded in 1992 by the university professors Bernd Rolfes and Henner Schierenbeck under the name "Center for Income-Oriented Bank Management" (abbreviated to zeb) in Münster. The company, which was initially founded to advise credit institutions, later also offered management consulting for the financial services industry and expanded beyond Germany. In 1997 branches were founded in Vienna and Zurich . Locations in Berlin and Frankfurt followed a year later . At that time, zeb had 100 employees.

In the following years several subsidiaries were founded (zeb.information.technology gmbh & co. Kg, findic gmbh and ITE computence gmbh). Munich , Warsaw , Hamburg , Kiev , Luxembourg and London were added as new locations.

In 2011 compentus GmbH was included in the group of companies. As an independent management consultancy, Compentus advises banks in the cooperative sector.

In 2012, zeb took over the Scandinavian consulting company crescore / with headquarters in Stockholm and further locations in Oslo and Copenhagen with a total of 36 employees, the Hamburg- based IT consultancy palaimon consulting with a total of 20 employees and the consulting company Resolving with headquarters in Milan and a total of 30 Employees.

Currently (as of October 2018) zeb is represented at 17 locations in Europe.

On July 1, 2019, the management, consisting of Stefan Kirmße , was expanded to include Markus Thiesmeyer.

After the transfer from zeb.HealthCare to CURACON GmbH, a consulting company specializing in the health and social economy, zeb's clientele exclusively comprises the financial services industry in Germany and Europe.
