The Mühlenberg colliery is a former hard coal mine in Hörde - Schüren . The mine was also known under the name Kohlwerk in the Hörder Gardens , Zeche Am Mühlenberg , Zeche Geitling and Zeche Mühlenberg No. I and No. II .

Mining history

On April 20, 1787, the deed of occupation was issued to the W. Feldmann trades . The mine then went into operation. The solution of the mine water was provided by a connection to a tunnel in the Horde's. It was operated at a depth of 18 pools and five fathoms of substation construction . A disturbance was encountered when driving to a greater depth . Around 1797 the mine was abandoned due to inflowing water. On August 17, 1834, a new decision was made . On October 7, 1847, the Geviertfelder Mühlenberg and Mühlenberg No. II were awarded . In the period of June 19 of 1854 to 16 January of 1855 consolidated the bill with the bill Landwehr to mine Landwehr & Muhlenberg .
