Mining history

On April 20, 1787, the deed of occupation was issued to the W. Feldmann trade, after which dismantling was carried out. In 1802 the Landwehr colliery was shut down, but later started up again. On February 20, 1832, a more detailed field determination was carried out. In 1844 work began on digging a shaft . The starting point of this shaft was about 280 meters southwest of the Freie Vogel & Unverhofft colliery . In 1845 the mining shaft reached a depth of 6⅜ laughers . On May 27th and 28th of the same year, the mining authorities granted a square as an authorized person . In the following year, a 20 meter long stretch was excavated in the mining shaft . This route was used to lend another mine field. An old mine was driven into during the drive . On October 19th of the same year the old mine was inspected . It was found that the seam is still pending further east. On November 2 and 29, 1847, the Geviertfelder Landwehr and Landwehr II were awarded. In the period 16 June 1854 to the January 16, 1855 consolidated the bill Landwehr with the bill Muhlenberg to mine Landwehr & Muhlenberg .
