action

After the death of his father, the twelve-year-old Ayoub becomes head of his family consisting of several sisters and the disabled Madi. He has to earn a living for the family, including money for Operation Madis. After Ayoub, despite taking on strenuous and dangerous work, such as tire smuggling along the Iraqi- Iranian border, is unable to raise the required amount, his uncle arranges a marriage for one of the sisters in order to use the dowry he has raised for Operation Madis finance.

description

The life of the Kurds living in this region is characterized by political unrest, harsh weather conditions and great poverty. There are fields, but these are mined and cannot be edited. The smuggling of the so-called Kolbar is the only way to work.

The film seems semi-documentary in parts. Nothing is explained to the inexperienced viewer, he is confronted directly with the strange living conditions.
