Zell Markt is a village and a cadastral community in the statutory town of Waidhofen an der Ybbs in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 222 building areas with 38,397 m² and 212 gardens on 132,214 m² in the cadastral municipality of Zell Markt, in 1989/1990 there were 222 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 850 and in 2009/2010 there were 387 buildings on 827 building areas.
Agriculture
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 21 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 3 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 11 hectares and 5 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry.
