Zenon Frydrychowicz

Zenon Frydrychowicz (born December 20, 1851 in Tuchel , West Prussia , † February 26, 1929 in Bydgoszcz , Republic of Poland ) was a Polish lawyer in the province of Posen and in Poland. He was a district judge and the first Polish court president in Bydgoszcz.

Life

The father Franciszek Frydrychowicz was a member of parliament and a patriotic activist in Tuchel, the mother Maria, née Malinowska, daughter of the mayor of Gollub and sister of the scholar Francy Ksawery Malinowski. The brother Romuald Frydrychowicz became a priest and important regional historian. Zenon Frydrychowicz attended elementary school in Tuchel, the Progymnasium in Pelplin and the grammar school in Konitz . There he founded a local branch of the Society of Philomats with Anton Wolszlegier . He then studied law in Wroclaw .

Since 1875 Frydrychowicz worked in the judiciary. In 1881 he was appointed magistrate in Koschmin in the province of Poznan. Before 1901 he was a district judge in Bromberg (Bydgoszcz), which he was in 1912.

In 1920 Zenon Frydrychowicz became the first Polish court president in Bydgoszcz after independence.

Zenon Frydrychowicz received the Order of the National Rebirth of Poland and the Order of Pius (Commander).
