The Central Association of Engineering Associations (ZBI) is a central association in the field of engineering. Its members include organizations involved in engineering. The CBI brings together a governing body the interests and concerns of its member organizations with over 50,000 engineers and engineers. He represents them vis-à-vis politics and society on a national and international level. The ZBI influences federal and state legislation and maintains its professional and direct contacts with politicians from all parties.
