Zhao Kezhi

Zhao Kezhi ( Chinese  赵克 志 , Pinyin Zhào Kèzhì ; born December 1953 in Laixi , Shandong Province ) is a politician in the People's Republic of China .

After working in politics and administration in his home province, including mayor and then party secretary in Jimo and vice-governor from 2001 to 2006, he was vice governor and deputy party secretary of Jiangsu Province from 2006 to 2010 .

Since August 2010, Zhao has been the governor of Guizhou Province, succeeding Lin Shusen . He was also deputy party secretary of that province. In July 2012, he was named provincial party secretary to succeed Li Zhanshu . He was succeeded as governor by Chen Miner .

In July 2015, he moved to Hebei Province as party secretary to succeed Zhou Benshun, who was dismissed for disciplinary violations . In Guizhou he was replaced by Chen Miner. He has been Minister for Public Security since March 2018 .
