Sha Zhigang

Sha Zhigang ( Chinese  沙 志 鋼 , Pinyin Shā Zhìgāng , also called: Zhi Gang Sha ; * 1956 ) is a healer , doctor , author , teacher and philanthropist . He is the founder of the so-called "Love Peace Harmony" movement.

Life

He was born in Shaanxi Province in the People's Republic of China . Sha developed an interest in healing people as a child . He viewed people in their immediate and extended relationship with various diseases. He was very concerned about people with respiratory problems, particularly asthma . His journey began at the age of six when he asked a tai chi master to accept him as a student. When he was ten years old, he was accepted as a student by a master of qigong . He continued his training in eastern martial arts until he became a master ( Shifu ) in Tai Chi, Qigong, I Ching , Kung Fu , and Feng Shui .

He started studying at Xi'an Jiaotong University and did a PhD in medicine . He is also certified in the traditional Chinese techniques of acupuncture and moxibustion . He is a registered acupuncturist in Canada . He also holds a Masters Degree in Health Administration from the University of the Philippines . He is the Grand Master of Dong Yi Gong and Body-Space Medicine in North America .

In Beijing he taught acupuncture and Qigong to foreign doctors on behalf of the World Health Organization . He appeared in the documentaries Qigong: Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century and Power Healing with Master Sha produced for the Public Broadcasting Service . In 2002 he was named Qigong Master of the Year at the fifth Qigong World Congress in San Francisco . In 2006 his government gave New Jersey the memorial Commission the price Martin Luther King Jr.

Sha currently lives in Canada.
