Ziegelhütte is a district of the market Neuhaus an der Pegnitz in the district of Nürnberger Land in Middle Franconia .

The hamlet is located near the Pegnitz, northwest of Neuhaus, on State Road 2163 . In the northwest is the Ziegelhüttenhöhe (417 m). Ziegelhütte has about 25 buildings. In Ziegelhütte, bricks have been made from clay and lime has been burned since the Middle Ages . After the Second World War , four houses, a gas station and a sawmill were built. The stud on the Pfürch is also part of Ziegelhütte. Until 1978 the place belonged to the municipality Höfen . In 1988, 31 people lived in six residential buildings in Ziegelhütte; today there are 19 residents.

Nagelschmiedkapelle

To the north of Ziegelhütte is the Nagelschmiedkapelle, built in 1776, a small saddle roof building with groin vaults and altar niches. It is designated as an architectural monument .
