Geographical location
The Ziegenkopf is about 1 km southwest of Blankenburg or about 200 m south of the federal road 27 leading to Hüttenrode , from which you can reach 400.7 m above sea level. NHN turns onto a road leading to the Ziegenkopf.
Goat head tower
More than 100 years ago, the stone and wood-clad observation tower Ziegenkopfturm was built on the mountain top of the Ziegenkopf with a height of 30 m, which offers a good all-round view of the Brocken . Directly attached to the tower is the mountain inn goat head .
