Thomas Zieler

Thomas Zieler (born April 22, 1957 in Magdeburg ) is a German actor and publisher of audio books .

Life

From 1977 to 1981, Zieler completed an acting course at the Leipzig Theater Academy "Hans Otto" , which he graduated with a diploma. In 1983 he played Zille in the DEFA film and ick the character of Ede Schmidt at the side of Kurt Nolze and Daniela Hoffmann . He then worked for many years as a theater actor in Meiningen, Nordhausen, Zittau and at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin, but also worked at times as a director and acting lecturer.

From 1993 to 1996 he was a speaker and editor at Antenne MV . Zieler has been working as a newscaster and news editor at MDR Saxony-Anhalt since 2000 . Since 2002 he has also been a news anchor for MDR Info . He also speaks for documentaries, radio features and audio books.

In 2004 Thomas Zieler founded the audio book publisher Zielophon . So far, audio books with the fairy tales by Heinrich Seidel , the novel Gegen den Strich by Joris-Karl Huysmans and an artistic audio book about the life story and work of Friedrich Freiherr von Hardenberg, also known as Novalis, have been published there is known.
