The Ziemann Sicherheit GmbH is a German security transport company based in Schallstadt at Freiburg . The company is the second largest in the field of money and valuables transport . It is also active in security logistics and security services.
history
The company was founded in 1956 by Curt Ziemann and has been run by the Hisam family since 1989. It employs around 2,600 people at 25 locations nationwide.
As part of an owner buy-out, the Hisam family transferred the majority stake in the company to funds of the Hannover Finanz Group in 2008 , which GBK Beteiligungen AG, which is related to the company, acquired 7.5% of the shares. Hans-Jörg Hisam remained a minority shareholder and managing director, while his brother Manuel Hisam sold all shares.
In 2012 the Lübeck money center was taken over. Ziemann Sicherheit is a member of the BDGW and the BDSW (Federal Association of the Security Industry). In addition, parts of the company are certified according to DIN 77200 and DIN EN ISO 9001.
In January 2019, the Swedish Loomis AB announced an agreement to take over Ziemann Sicherheit in its entirety. However, the Federal Cartel Office prohibited the acquisition.
Services

social commitment
With the organization ChildFund Germany , Ziemann supports an organization that is mainly committed to children and youth projects. In the course of this cooperation, the Ziemann company supported the renovation of a crisis center for mothers and children in Latvia and the construction of an orphanage in Ukraine .
