Gisela Zies

Gisela Zies (born June 13, 1939 in Herzberg am Harz ) is a German writer .

Life

Gisela Zies grew up in Northeim, Lower Saxony . After a study of art education , she with the state examination completed, she completed training as an actor . From 1966 to 1970 she worked as an actress at the Stadttheater in Bremen . She has lived in Berlin since 1970 , where she initially worked as an actress, assistant director and teacher ; today she works as a freelance writer for theater and radio . In 1977 she worked in the feature film The All-Round Reduced Personality - Redupers by Helke Sander . In 1981 she took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt .

Gisela Zies is the author of plays , stories , essays and radio features .

Gisela Zies is organized in the Association of German Writers , the New Society for Literature and the Dramatists Union . In the 1970s and 1980s she received several scholarships for Berlin writers.
