The Cistercian Abbey Blendecques was 1182-1792 a monastery of Cistercian nuns in Blendecques , Arrondissement of Saint-Omer , Pas-de-Calais , Diocese of Saint-Omer , in France .
history
In 1182, the monastery of Sainte-Colombe (after Kolumba von Sens ) was founded south of Arques on the river Aa and placed under the supervision of Clairmarais monastery. The French Revolution dissolved the monastery in 1792. The buildings were demolished. The abbot house and the monastery portal were preserved (today private).
