The Zlatograd Rock ( Bulgarian Златоградски камък Slatogradski kamak ) is a 250 m high and rocky mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 1.25 km east-northeast of Atanasoff Nunatak , 1.9 km southeast of Sliven Peak and 3.7 km northwest of Godetsch Nunatak and forms the eastern branch of Bowles Ridge .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it between 2004 and 2005 while surveying the Tangra Mountains . The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the city of Slatograd in southern Bulgaria .
