Zug um Zug (Original title: The 7.39) is a British film from 2014 . Directed by John Alexander .

action

The married Carl Matthews, father of two, leads a routine life. Every day at 7:39 a.m. he takes the train to London. One day he argues with Sally Thorn, the head of a sports club, about a seat. The two contact each other and get closer and closer over the next few days. Sally Thorn is engaged to Ryan Cole and wants to marry him, which is becoming more and more difficult for her because of her sympathy with Carl Matthews. When the train breaks down, they both have to stay in a hotel. Shortly afterwards, Sally learns that she is pregnant. Carl Matthews gets into trouble with his family and Sally's fiancé Ryan Cole.

criticism

“How harmless the story ripples becomes clear at the turning point of the story, which heralds the last act - suddenly, a bit like Kai-out-of-the-box, Carl's wife stands on the street and sees the two of them in a deep embrace . It is followed by 'it's not what you think', let me explain and so on. The fact that this Kai-out-of-the-box appearance doesn't bother you (unintentionally) underlines the quality of the film, which is easy to watch just like that. Läbbe go waidä and then has a very nice surprise ready for us in the final picture. "
