Zvonimir Vukić (born July 19, 1979 in Zrenjanin , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a football player from Serbia .

Vukić began his career in 1997 with Proleter Zrenjanin before moving to Atlético Madrid at the age of 19 . There he played as a young talent in the first line in Atletico's B selection. In 2000 he moved back to his homeland to Partizan Belgrade , where he scored 44 goals in 86 first division games and won the Serbian championship in 2002. Under coach Lothar Matthäus he played with Partizan in the Champions League the following year , where he was noticed by the Ukrainian top club Shakhtar Donetsk . As a goal-scoring midfield director of Donetsk, he made a name for himself with his free kicks and his game overview. Since January 2013 he has been playing for PAOK Saloniki in Greece.

At the 2006 World Cup he was in the squad of the national team of Serbia and Montenegro .
