Frederic is her father's secretary, a wealthy businessman. Frederic then wants to extort a large ransom. But on the ship off the African coast, Jochen and his friends have taken command after a wild shooting. During a scuffle, in which Diana and Frederic are to be arrested, the gang boss can detonate an explosive device attached to the ship. The freighter sinks, but the three friends and Vera Andes are able to save themselves ashore, where the pair of villains are handcuffed away by the Moroccan police.
