Zymer Bytyqi (born September 11, 1996 in Sint-Truiden , Belgium ) is a Norwegian football player with Kosovar roots.
Career
Bytyqi was born in Belgium and moved to Norway when he was two years old with his parents, who fled Kosovo in the 1990s .
He started playing club soccer at Lura IL at the age of ten and moved to Sandnes Ulf's youth department in 2010 . From 2011 he played with the reserve team in the third division and trained with the combat team. In October 2011, he completed a trial at Newcastle United , but stayed with Sandnes Ulf. In spring 2012, at the age of 15, he signed his first professional contract and made his debut in the highest Norwegian league a short time later: In the game against FK Haugesund on May 28, 2012, he was substituted on in the 77th minute. Four more missions followed until the end of the season.
In autumn 2012, FC Red Bull Salzburg signed the then 15-year-old for the 2012/13 winter break. He moved to Salzburg with his family and took part in the training of the combat team from October. In December 2012 he took part in several friendly matches with the U-18 academy team in Brazil. At the end of January 2013, Red Bull Salzburg decided to loan Bytyqi back to Norway to Sandnes Ulf until 2014 . He should collect match practice in the first Norwegian league there. In 2015 Bytyqi Viking joined Stavanger .
National team
Bytyqi has been working for the Norwegian junior national teams since 2011. On March 5, 2014, he took part with the Kosovar football team in their first unofficial friendly match against a FIFA member. In the 0-0 game against Haiti , he was substituted on for Ilir Azemi .
