Later on Ben and Anthony fired AJ and Paul, and asked Nash Breen, drummer of [[Prevent Falls]], to join Armor for Sleep. Nash quit Prevent Falls and asked his cousin, P.J. DeCicco, also of Prevent Falls to come with him to Armor for Sleep.They also had a small 5 day tour with an up incoming singer/producer, Ariel Burns,from Classical High School in Providence, Rhode Island.

The band was originally signed to [[Equal Vision Records]] and released their first two albums with them, but as of April 2006, Armor for Sleep are now signed to [[Sire Records|Warner Brothers/Sire Records]].


A [[Machine Shop Recordings|Machine Shop]] remix of their track "Remember to Feel Real" was featured on the ''[[Snakes on a Plane: The Album|Snakes on a Plane]]'' soundtrack in August of 2006.

On [[June 18]] [[2007]], the band posted a new song on their [[MySpace]] entitled "Williamsburg."

Their third full length album ''[[Smile For Them]]'' was released on October 30, 2007.

2008 sees Armor For Sleep on [[Linkin Park|Linkin Park's]] summer [[Projekt Revolution]] tour. They are featured on the Revolution Stage with [[Atreyu (band)|Atreyu]], [[10 Years]], and [[Hawthorne Heights]].

Armor for Sleep

Armor for Sleep is an American rock band from Maplewood and Teaneck, New Jersey. Lead singer Ben Jorgensen recorded the first ever Armor for Sleep songs in exchange for $100 at a nearby recording studio[citation needed], playing all the instruments by himself, after leaving the band Random Task, in which he played drums. The original line up of Armor For Sleep included two of Ben's high school friends AJ Resnick and Paul Abrahamian. Later on Ben and Anthony fired AJ and Paul, and asked Nash Breen, drummer of Prevent Falls, to join Armor for Sleep. Nash quit Prevent Falls and asked his cousin, P.J. DeCicco, also of Prevent Falls to come with him to Armor for Sleep.They also had a small 5 day tour with an up incoming singer/producer, Ariel Burns,from Classical High School in Providence, Rhode Island.

History

The band was originally signed to Equal Vision Records and released their first two albums with them, but as of April 2006, Armor for Sleep are now signed to Warner Brothers/Sire Records.

A Machine Shop remix of their track "Remember to Feel Real" was featured on the Snakes on a Plane soundtrack in August of 2006.

The band had a new track entitled "End of the World" on the soundtrack to the 2007 Transformers film, which was released on July 3, 2007.

On June 18 2007, the band posted a new song on their MySpace entitled "Williamsburg."

Their third full length album Smile For Them was released on October 30, 2007.

2008 sees Armor For Sleep on Linkin Park's summer Projekt Revolution tour. They are featured on the Revolution Stage with Atreyu, 10 Years, and Hawthorne Heights. . On August 20, 2008, a blog entry on the band's website announced an EP, entitled "The Way Out Is Broken."[1]
