WWF In Your House 1: Premiere was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) produced by World Wrestling Federation (WWF). It took place on May 14 1995 at the Onondaga War Memorial in Syracuse, New York.[1]

The main event that was shown on PPV was a WWF Championship match between Diesel and Sycho Sid, which Sid won by disqualification, as Tatanka interfered on Sid's behalf. The main matches on the undercard were Bret Hart versus Hakushi and a WWF Tag Team Championship match between The Smokin' Gunns (Billy and Bart) and the team of Owen Hart and Yokozuna. There were three matches that took place after the PPV had finished.[1]

Background

Event

Before the event went live on pay-per-view, Jean-Pierre Lafitte defeated Bob Holly in a dark match.[1] Vince McMahon and Dok Hendrix were the commentators for the pay-per-view. Throughout the night, the WWF ran a competition for a home in Orlando, Florida. Todd Pettengill and Stephanie Wiand showed footage of the home, and later hand-picked one of the entries. They phoned Matt Pompacilli of Henderson, Nevada and told him that he and his family had won the vacant home.[1]

The first match that aired was between Bret Hart and Hakushi, who was accompanied by Shinja.
