Herbert "Bert" Whalley (6 August 1913 – 6 February 1958) was a footballer for Manchester United from 1934 to 1946, later serving on the coaching staff at the club. He died in the Munich air disaster in 1958, at the age of 44.

Born in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, Whalley first played for Stalybridge Celtic before transferring to Manchester United on 7 May 1934.
