Raven-Symoné is the fourth studio album by American singer Raven-Symoné. The album will be released on April 22, 2008.

Production

Raven-Symoné began work on her fourth studio album in the Summer of 2006.

In early 2006, Raven-Symoné was interviewed by Life Story Magazine and she stated "...I will be recording my next solo CD after I get back from Spain."

On April 19, 2007, singer Mario was interviewed by Billboard Magazine and he stated that he and his production team Knightwritaz[2] have recently worked with Raven-Symoné on her new album.

In May 2007, two tracks expected to be on Raven-Symoné's fourth studio album titled "Got It Girl" and "Green" leaked onto the music website imeem.com. [3] [4] It wasn't until November 2007 that Hollywood Records officially put out a statment regarding the two leaked records and Raven's album status by stating "....Raven-Symoné's new album will be out next spring. And it will not feature "Got It Girl," nor "Green", Which both leaked on the internet last summer.

In November 2007, Hollywood Records released a statement that Raven-Symoné's new album could possibly be self-titled and that promotion for the album would start in January 2008, and that the album should be out by April 2008.

In November 2007, Raven gave an interview to the press, when ask "Song currently playing in my iPod?", she stated "My song "In The Pictures" [5]

On January 29, 2008, Raven's official site Raven-Symoné Presents announced that her self titled fourth studio album, Raven-Symoné will be released on April 22, 2008. It also stated that on January 30, 2008, she would be shooting a video for her new single "Double Dutch Bus" which is to be featured in her new movie College Road Trip.[6] 3 days later Hollywood Records released information stating her new album would also feature "In the Pictures" and "Double Dutch Bus"

On February 6, 2008, Hollywood Records announced via MySpace "Raven-Symone will be releasing her fourth coming self-titled album on April 22, The new album will feature "In the Pictures", which will debut on MySpace in March 2008".

In the March 2008 issue of CosmoGirl Magazine, Raven-Symoné stated that her new album is more R&B than her last one, and she even spoke of a new record titled "Get It Gurl" stating that "It's like a Snap your finger dance song, and the producers reminded me im from Atlanta."
