Chief Ojo Maduekwe (born May 6 1945 in Abia State, Nigeria is the current Foreign Minister of Nigeria. He was sworn into that position on July 26 2007 under President Umaru Yar'Adua.[1] He is National Secretary of the ruling political party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Ojo previously served as the Minister of Transport in the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo.
