Leonardo Fontanesi (born 20 February 1996) is an Italian footballer who currently plays as a center back for Italian Serie A club Sassuolo.[1]
Club career
Fontanesi is a youth exponent from Sassuolo. He made his Serie A debut on 2 May 2015 against U.S. Palermo. He played the first 84 minutes of a 0-0 home draw before being substited for Cesare Natali.[2]
He signed a 5-year contract with Sassuolo on 1 July 2015.[3] On 22 January 2016 Fontanesi was signed by A.C. Cesena in a temporary deal.[4]
