Samuel "Samu" Castillejo Azuaga (born January 18, 1995 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish football player . The winger is under contract with AC Milan .

Career

society

Castillejo started his career with Explanada FS in 2004 and played a year with UD Mortadelo in the 2006/07 season . In 2007 he moved to the youth team at Malaga FC . There he came from summer 2012 for Atlético Malagueño , the second team of Málaga. For the 2014/15 season, Castillejo moved up to the first team. On August 29, 2014, he made his debut in the 3-0 defeat at Valencia CF in the Primera División when he came on for Ricardo Horta in the 63rd minute . He scored his first goal on February 2, 2015 in a 1-0 winner against Valencia CF.

For the 2015/16 season , Castillejo moved to Villarreal . He signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2020.

For the 2018/19 season , Castillejo was signed by AC Milan . In his first season he came mostly as a substitute to 31 appearances in Serie A and scored four goals.

National team

Castillejo played nine times for the Spanish U17 national team . On March 26, 2015, he made his debut in a 2-0 win against Norway for the U21 team of the Spanish Football Association .
