Tepalcatepec es una ciudad y municipio de México ubicado en la Tierra Caliente (Michoacán) situado en los límites del estado de Michoacán en su colindancia con Jalisco. Su numero total de población de Tepalcatepec es de 31,004

Fauna

It is the endemic environment of Michoacan Club-tail iguana (Ctenosaura clarki). The habitat of this species is dry, hot, cactus covered rocky hillsides.
