(1062) Lyuba is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 11, 1925 by the Russian astronomer Sergei Ivanovich Belyawski at the Crimean Observatory in Simejis .

The asteroid is named after Ljuba Berlin , a skydiver who died at the age of 21.
