(1084) Tamariwa is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on February 12, 1926 by the Russian astronomer Sergei Ivanovich Beljawski at the Crimean Observatory in Simejis .
The asteroid is named after the Soviet parachutist Tamara Iwanowa .
