(1127) Mimi is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 13 January 1929 by Belgian astronomers Sylvain Arend in Uccle was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the wife of colleague Eugène Delporte . The names of the asteroids (1127) and (1145) were accidentally reversed.
