(117506) Wildberg is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on February 5, 2005 by Rolf Apitzsch at the Wildberg Observatory .

The asteroid is named after the town of Wildberg in the northern Black Forest, where the observatory where the asteroid was discovered has been located since 2000.
