(1182) Ilona is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on March 3, 1927 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory at the University of Heidelberg .

It was named on the suggestion of Gustav Stracke .
