(1310) Villigera is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on February 28, 1932 by the German astronomer F. K. Arnold Schwassmann in Bergedorf .
The asteroid was named after the Swiss astronomer Walter A. Villiger , who was head of the department for astronomical instruments at Carl Zeiss Jena .
