(13115) Jeangodin is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 17 September 1993 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.

The asteroid was named on April 9, 2009 after the French naturalist and cartographer Jean Godin (1712–1792), who from 1735 took part in the expedition of the French Academy of Sciences to the viceroyalty of Peru to measure the figure of the earth.
