(1441) Bolyai is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 26 November 1937 by the Hungarian astronomers György Kulin at Konkoly Observatory in Budapest was discovered.

The name of the asteroid is reminiscent of the Hungarian mathematician János Bolyai .
