(1465) Autonoma is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on March 20, 1938 by the German astronomer Arthur Arno Wachmann in Bergedorf .
The name of the asteroid is derived from the Universidad Autonoma de El Salvador in recognition of the hospitality that the Hamburg observatory received.
