Michael Anthony Angarano (born December 3, 1987 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actor .

Life

Angarano was born in Brooklyn and lived in Staten Island, New York until he was twelve. He has two younger siblings, Erica and Andrew, and an older sister named Kristen. He has Italian ancestry. His parents Doreen and Michael Angarano own three dance studios (Name: Reflections in Dance ), two in New York City (Brooklyn and Staten Island ) and one in California ( Los Angeles ). At the age of 12, Angarano and his family moved to Los Angeles, where he attended Crespi Carmelite High School , which he graduated from in 2005.

In an interview with the American Vanity Fair on November 5, 2008 , actress Kristen Stewart announced that she and Angarano are in a relationship. In 2009, however, the two separated again. He is in a relationship with Juno Temple , whom he met while producing The Brass Teapot in 2012, and lives in Los Feliz , a district of Los Angeles .

Career

Michael began his career at the age of five and a half as a child model for his parents' dance studios. Then he was to be seen in some American TV series until he got his first major role in 1997 in the movie The Devil with the Millions , in which Tim Allen can be seen among others . In 1999 he starred in the film Music of the Heart with Meryl Streep and a year later, in 2000, he played the young William Miller in the critically acclaimed musical drama Almost Famous .
