Reviews

Kirk Honeycutt derided in The Hollywood Reporter on October 9, 2007 that every scene showed the writers' love for baseball , but none - the love of good drama. The script, based on real events from the early 1990s, was poor and too predictable; the dialogues are "cheese" . The representations are "sincere" but "wooden" ; the "routine" baseball game scenes lack tension.
