David Lee Gallagher (born February 9, 1985 in College Point , New York ) is an American film actor . His father, Vince, is an American of Irish descent and his mother, Elena, is Cuban .

Life

At the age of two he was first seen as a model in advertising. This led to further engagements, such as at Disney and Burger King . In 1993 Gallagher had his first role in the movie Look Who's Talking Next to John Travolta . After a few more appearances in films and on television, he was able to celebrate another success in Phenomenon in 1996 when he played again with Travolta.

In 1996 Gallagher got the role of Simon Camden in the series A Heavenly Family ( 7th Heaven ), which was a huge success in both the US and Europe. From 1996 to 2003 Gallagher was represented in all episodes, from 2003 he had numerous guest appearances, in the 11th and final season he was no longer represented.

David Gallagher supports various charitable organizations, in particular as an active supporter and spokesman for Cure Autism Now, a sub-organization of Autism Speaks . This was inspired by his brother Killian, who was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder .
