(15414) Pettirossi is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 26 January 1998 by astronomers of SPACEWatch -project at Kitt Peak National Observatory ( IAU code in 695) Arizona was discovered.
The celestial body was named on January 16, 2014 after the Paraguayan pilot and aviation pioneer Silvio Pettirossi (1887-1916), who founded the first Aeroclub de Paraguay in December 1914 and was its first president.
